1. What is the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM - INMF?

The INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF is an internet platform that provides marketplace services, fundraising services and agency services in the fields of the cultural heritage protection, environmental protection, nature conservation, animal protection, species protection, land use and marine exploitation, landscape design and urban design as well as science and research.

This includes in particular:

  • publication of offers with regional or local reference (globally available regional categories);

  • choice between different types of offers and categories of offers;

  • possibility to set up offers in an anonymity mode;

  • choice between different payment methods (direct debit, bank transfer, cash on delivery, cash payment, PayPal);

  • automatic generation of pre-filled direct debit mandates and of a postal cover letter meant to be sent to the payee;

  • automatic generation of a honorary certificate for donors or sponsors.

 

2. Who can make use of the services of the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF?

The possibility to set up offers on the internet platform of the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF is available to the following customer groups:

  1. private personany natural and legally competent person (consumer);

  2. private businessany business set up on the base of private law that has no public purposes, that has no tax-privileges, and that is organised in the form of a sole proprietorship (e.g. a registered sole trader), a joint partnership or a corporation;

  3. non-profit organisation or non-profit companyany corporate body, association of individuals or estate that is constituted under private law, that is tax-privileged, and that has got (demonstrably) public-benefit purposes, charitable purposes or religious purposes, such as a non-profit limited company, a registered association, which is officially recognised as a non-profit organisation, a federation of associations or a charitable foundation under private law;

  4. public-sector entity or public-sector undertaking:

  • any organisation or institution constituted under public law (organisation under public law), such as a public body (federal union, federal state, administrative district, independent city, municipality, self-governing body, etc.), a foundation under public law or a public-law institution, including their organisational subunits, for instance, in the form of a public service unit, which has neither an organisational autonomy nor a legal personality, or a public authority;

  • any municipal or state-owned enterprise with economic or non-economic purposes that has got an organisational autonomy but no legal personality (dependent owner-operated public enterprise), such as an owner-operated public utility company, an owner-operated public waste disposal company, an owner-operated public transport service or an owner-operated public company offering cultural activities;

  • any company constituted under private law that has got public purposes, an organisational autonomy and a legal personality, that is organised in the form of a joint partnership or a corporation, and that is (demonstrably) dominated by the influence of the public sector (publicly owned enterprise under private law).

*An offer of the type of offer "INMF Sponsorship" can be accepted by as many interested parties as possible. However, it should be expressly pointed out in the respective offer if an exclusive sponsorship with only one or with only a few sponsors is desired. The circle of possible sponsors and, thus, the exclusivity of the sponsorship can be controlled by the determination of the minimum amount of the contribution (small minimum amount of the contribution > many interested parties and, therefore, a low exclusivity; high minimum amount of the contribution > only a few interested parties and, thus, a high exclusivity of the sponsorship).

 

4. According to what principles does the platform of the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF work?

The platform of the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF works in a way that is oriented to projects and causes. Therefore, a general fundraising without reference to a specific funding project and the promoting of a membership of an organisation are not possible.

6. Can all categories of offers provided on the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF be freely chosen?

Only certain categories of offers may be selected for a particular type of offer on the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF. For instance, offers belonging to the type of offer "INMF Marketplace" can only be set up within the categories of offer "Antiques & Art Objects", "Sustainable Products" as well as "Events & Activities", but not within the category of offer "Wild animals". Therefore, the offer and the sale of generally or specially protected wild animals are excluded.

9. Why is the platform of the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF commercially operated and not on a non-profit basis?

The commercial orientation allows continuous innovations, and ensures a continuous improvement as well as an expansion of the services. In addition, there are no legal restrictions regarding an international activity and the realisation of profits characterised by performance and counter-performance. Therefore, the activities of non-profit organisations, which are especially constrained in this regard, can be effectively supplemented.

 

10. How are vouchers of the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF designed, and where can they be purchased and redeemed?

Vouchers of the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF have got a certain nominal value, and can be purchased and redeemed at the operator of the platform www.inmf.net. The nominal value of vouchers will be offset against fees, commissions or payment obligations, which may arise if the beneficiary named in the voucher uses the services of the platform www.inmf.net, or buys goods of the operator of the platform inmf.net. The vouchers can be purchased by all registered users of the platform www.inmf.net. Order forms for the purchase of vouchers are available under the menu button "Downloads" in the virtual customer area of a registered user. The voucher is issued on the name of a specific person, organisation or business according to the intention of the respective buyer.

 

11. What provisions have to be respected if the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF is used?

Our general terms and conditions of business as well as our privacy policy, as amended from time to time, apply while using the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF. 12. Which purposes are not permitted when using the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF?

The INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF is neutral concerning political, ideological and religious terms. Therefore, the platform must not be used to advertise a specific political, ideological or religious view or to discredit other views. In addition, the promoting of a membership of an organisation, the advertising of a stake in the basic assets of a foundation or of donations into the basic assets of a foundation and / or of the assignment of inheritances, the offer to purchase or to sell financial instruments as well as the bypassing of paid services of the platform are particularly prohibited. 13. What has to be paid attention to concerning fundraising projects relating to payments?

As far as fundraising projects are concerned that relate to payments, non-cash amounts of money may only be collected in the own name and on the own behalf of the respective fundraiser. If the collection of money is done in the name and on the behalf of a third party, the person taking in money may provide -depending on the respective national legislation- money remittance services or financial services respectively, which are subject to authorisation.

 

14. How can people who are visually impaired or limited in their eyesight use the INTERNATIONAL NATURE & MONUMENT FORUM – INMF?

Common browsers offer the possibility to zoom in or to zoom out of views and images with or without different steps. The insertion of contents from existing text files is possible by using the features "copy" and "paste". However, we recommend using simple text editors to create the text files because special formattings and special characters of certain text processing programs may not be transferred.

As far as a payment via direct debit has been chosen, pre-filled SEPA direct debit mandates or other pre-filled direct debit mandates are available in your virtual customer area
